Next Saturday sees Tynagh-Abbey/Duniry take on Tooreen in the Connacht Intermediate Hurling Club Final in Hyde Park in Roscommon.
The Mayo champions are going for five in a row in this competition which has not been kind to Galway teams in recent years with the last team to win this championship being Oranmore-Maree in 2018 and before that, Ahascragh-Fohenagh who beat Ballyhaunis after a replay in 2016, completing a sequence of wins for Galway teams since 2005.
