The death has occurred of Sr Marianne Monaghan of Franciscan Convent, Ballinasloe, Co Galway, originally from Blackwater Bridge, Enfield, Co Meath. Pre-deceased by her parents Paddy and Molly, her sister Peggy and her nephew Patrick. Survived by her brother Joe and his wife Mary, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and her extended family, relatives and friends, her Franciscan Missionaries of the Divine Motherhood Sisters and staff of the Franciscan Convent.

Requiem Mass in the Chapel of Franciscan Convent, Ballinasloe (H53 RF84) at 11.00am on 19th December 2023 followed by burial at Creagh Cemetery.
