The death has occurred of Mary (Baby) Melody (née Burke)

Mary (Baby) Melody
Peacefully at Portiuncula Hospital Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. Predeceased by her loving husband Bobby, brother Brendan and her parents Joe and Elizabeth. Baby will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family; son Joe and her daughters Maeve (Roche, Craughwell) Annita (Duffy, Gurteen) Carmel (Haverty, Kilchreest) Arabella (Earls, Streamsfort) Hanoria (Curley, Kiltormer) Eugena (Carr, Ballymacward) Barbara (Kenny, Streamsfort), sons-in-law and Joe’s partner Michelle, twenty one adored grandchildren and adorable great grand daughter Abigail, Brother in law Pa (Melody, Clooncagh) his wife Ann, Malachy (Rice, Canada), cousins both in Ireland and U.S.A., relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. A loving mother, sister, granny, great grandmother, neighbour and friend.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at Áras Mhuire in the grounds of St Killian’s Church, New Inn, (H53 P6C0), on Saturday, the 15th of April, from 4pm to 6.30pm with removal after to St. Mary’s Church, Clooncagh. Funeral mass on Sunday, the 16th of April, at 12 noon. Burial afterwards to Cloonkeenkerrill Cemetery.
Baby’s family are conscious that Covid is still present and kindly ask that those attending the funeral are mindful of the ongoing risk.
