Death Notices

Died suddenly on Tuesday, 30th April 2024, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Tim and Bridget and his brother Tommy Joe.

Deeply regretted by his brothers, Michael, Sean and Anthony, his sisters Maureen and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, his aunt Eileen (Birmingham) and his uncle Dick (Richard, Wales) and a wide circle of neighbours and friends.

Mattie will be reposing in the room adjacent to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Brooklodge, Ballygunin (H54 W602) on Thursday, 2nd May, from 5pm with removal at 7pm to the adjoining church. Requiem mass for Mattie will be on Friday, 3rd of May, at 12 noon in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Brooklodge, Ballyglunin. Burial afterwards in Abbeyknockmoy Cemetery.

The family of Mattie would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr John Lee, Dr. John King, Dr. Antionette Dolan and all the staff in Abbeyknockmoy Health Centre. All his neighbours and very kind friends.

Those who are unable to attend Mattie’s funeral are asked to leave a message of comfort and support in the condolence section below. House private, please respect the wishes of the family. Family flowers only by request.
