The death has occurred of Malachy Ruane, Tullyvealnaslee, Oughterard March 31st 2023. Malachy died, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his heartbroken family. Beloved husband of Clíodhna, adored Dad to Cayla, Niamh, MacDara and Róisín and much loved brother to Jo & Cara. Predeceased by his dearly missed mother Roseleen. He will be deeply missed by Roseleen's partner Steve, father Malachy, mother-in-law Ruth, father-in-law Maurice and his wife Rachel, brothers and sisters in law, his nieces Freya, Scout, Mason and Riley, his extended family, incredible neighbours and wide circle of wonderful friends.

Reposing at Walsh’s Funeral Home ( H91 EV52), Oughterard, on Monday, the 3rd of April, from 4.00pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, the 4th of April, at 11am in the Church of Immaculate Conception, Oughterard. Burial afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery, Oughterard. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice.
