Mai Dooley nee Hession
Garrafrauns, Dunmore, and formerly of Russelstown, Milltown. Mai passed away peacefully at her home in Garrafrauns, surrounded by her loving and heartbroken family. Predeceased by her husband Jack, her son baby JJ and daughter Cathriona. Mai will be dearly missed by her son and daughters, Mary Greally (Claregalway), Ann Mannion (Garrafrauns), Majella Merrigan (San Francisco), Angela Nicoladies (London), John (Garrafrauns) and Caroline (Salthill), her sons-in-law Tommy, Seamus, Paddy and Andrew, her daughter in law Cora, grandchildren Niamh, Aoife, Diarmuid, Jack, Liam, Alex, Grace, Ciara and Jack Dooley, her nieces, nephews and her wide circle of friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Glynn’s Funeral Home Dunmore (H54NY61) Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Removal from her home on Saturday morning to Saint Patrick’s Church, Garrafrauns (H54WK83) for funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Irishtown Cemetery. House private please. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Galway Hospice.

I’m very sorry to hear of Mrs. Dooley’s death. She was always a lovely lady. I’m away for a few days and will miss her funeral. My sympathy to all the family.
