Joe moved on to his eternal rest on Sunday 21st April 2024

surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care

of the Beacon Hospital ICU Staff, Dublin.

Predeceased by his mother, Margaret.

Joe was a devoted husband and best friend to Ann,

a loving father to Gareth, Darragh and Seán

and adored grandfather to Aoibhín, Saoirse and Sadhbh.

He will be forever remembered and deeply regretted by his father John-Joe,

brothers Gerry and Ambrose, sister Anita,

daughter-in-law Patrice and Darragh’s partner Analia,

sisters-in-law Frances and Margaret and Anita’s partner John,

close cousins John, Cinny and their families

and all Joe’s extended family, good friends and kind neighbours.

Joe will repose at Dignity Funeral Care funeral home,

St. Brendan’s Road, Portumna, Co Galway (H53 AY18)
on Thursday, 25th April, from 5pm to 7pm.

Funeral cortége will arrive to St. Brigid’s Church Portumna

at 10:45am on Friday 26th April.

Requiem mass will be celebrated for the repose of Joe’s soul at 11am.

Burial will take place afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
