Helen Martyn née Spelman
Corrib Park, Newcastle, Galway and formerly of Forster Street, Galway. 28th October 2023 peacefully, in the presence of her devoted daughter Annette, in the care of St. Enda’s Ward, UHG. Predeceased by her loving husband Christy, her parents Michael and Nancy, and her siblings Patrick, Timothy (Broddy), Michael (Misco), James and Anne. Deeply regretted by her heartbroken daughter Annette, son-in-law Thorsten and grandson Philip. Sadly missed by her loving family, her siblings Mary, Noel, Johnny, and Jimmy, best friends Maureen and Nancy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Conneely’s Funeral Home, Flood Street, Galway City on Sunday 5th November from 4pm until 6pm. Arriving to The Sacred Heart Church, Seamus Quirke Road for Requiem Mass at 11.30am on Monday 6th November. Funeral afterwards to Forthill Cemetery where Helen will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Christy.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Helen she was a lovely lady and always had a smile for everyone when she worked in farah back in the day
