Brendan Canney
Brendan passed away peacefully with his daughters by his side on Monday 11th September 2023 at Galway Hospice . Predeceased by his beloved wife Susan, his sister Sheila and her husband Michael Black, brother Desmond and his wife Ann Canney, sisters-in-law Mary and her husband Jack Mcgovern and his brother-in-law Martin Cooley. Sadly missed by his loving daughters Siobhan and Fiona, their partners Dominik and Regan, grandson Alex, niece’s ,nephew’s, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, friends and neighbours.
MAY HIS GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE.
Brendan will repose in Dalys Funeral Home, Ahascragh (H53 VR02) on Thursday 14th September from 6pm with removal at 8pm to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Caltra (H53 PP90). Funeral Mass will take place on Friday 15th September at 11am followed by burial in Bohermore Cemetery, Galway.
Family flowers only, donations if desired to Galway Hospice.
Siobhan and Fiona, I am very sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. A lovely man of whom I have so many fond memories. May God rest his soul. My sincerest condolences to you both on your loss.
