Margaret Long née Casserly
Margaret died peacefully at home on November 13, 2023 in her 97th year. A beautiful lady who passed away with her dearly loved family by her side. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Michael-John, sons Michael and Paul and her siblings and parents.
Deeply mourned, loved and sadly missed by her son Peter (Pio) and daughters Mary, Celia, Anne, Breege and Bernie, by her much-loved grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great granddaughter, sister Celia, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, the extended Long and Casserly family, much loved neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Church of the Holy Family Funeral Parlour, Mervue on Thursday, 16 November, from 5.00 p.m. Removal at 6.30 p.m. to the Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Margaret on Friday, 17 November, at 11 a.m. and following Mass, she will be laid to rest in the new cemetery, Bohermore. Sincere sympathies to Breege,Tommy,Macala,Rachel,Amy & Andrew and the extended Long and Casserly Families on the sad passing of Margaret.
She was a remarkable lady and I had the privilege of looking after her in Merlin Park Hospital, most recently in Unit 5 and in Unit 6 a few years ago.
The memories you have of her will get you through the dayx,weeks and months ahead.
