Willie passed away very peacefully on the 14th of January 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of The Staff of the Respiratory Unit in The University Hospital Galway. Predeceased by his parents Micheal and Mary, brothers Paddy and Micheál and daughter-in-law Siobhan. Sadly missed by his loving wife Bernie (Dette) nee O’Connell, sons Ken and Liam, daughters Sinéad, Joanne and Denise, his precious grandchildren Kealan, Shane, Mark, Alanna, Caragh, Niamh, Seán, Emily, Aoife, Aisling, Liam Og and Rosie, brothers Frankie and Gerard, sisters Maureen, Nora and Cathy, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Mervue Funeral Home, in the grounds of the Church of the Holy Family Mervue (H91 FH52), on Friday the 17th of January from 5pm. Removal at 6:30pm to the adjoining Church. Willie's Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday the 18th of January at 11am. Cremation service will take place on Monday the 20th of January at 1pm, in Shannon Crematorium, County Clare.
