William “Liam” Carter passed away peacefully at home in Brighton, Boston, USA, surrounded by family, on October 13th, 2024.
Formerly of Wormhole, Rosscahill, Co. Galway.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Maureen (Joyce) Carter.
Liam was a devoted husband to Maire and a caring brother to Tommy, Maire, Carmel, Pakie, Johnny, Martin, and Michael, fondly remembered by all 24 nieces, nephews, many great-nieces and great-nephews, and his many loyal friends in both Boston and Galway.

Reposing on Sunday, 20th October, at Aiseirí Funeral Home, Moycullen, (H91 Y54A) from 4 pm with Removal at 6.30 pm to the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Killannin. Requiem Mass on Monday, 21st October at 11.30 am. Followed by Cremation in Shannon Crematorium At 3pm.
