It is with great sadness that the Welby family share the news of Tom's passing on the 20th March 2024, after a long illness in the excellent care of Castlegar Nursing Home. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Martin. Survived by his daughter Natasha, granddaughter Saoirse, sisters Geraldine and Trasa and their husbands Brian O'Callaghan and Seamus Smyth, nephews and niece, relatives and friends. Tom went to school in The Jes, class of '63, and was proud captain of their rowing team. Deeply loved and sadly missed by all.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, 23rd March, at 12 noon in The Sacred Heart Church, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway. Funeral afterwards to Rahoon Cemetery where Tom will be laid to rest with his parents Mary and Martin.
