Tom died peacefully at Galway University Hospital on Saturday, October 19 with his family by his side.

Predeceased by his baby son John, parents John and Kate, sisters Anne, Sr. Leo (Jane), Mary and brother Christy.

 

Mourned and lovingly remembered by his wife Mary, children Gerard, Cathy, Áine and Susan, daughter-in-law Yvonne, sons-in-law Pat Forker and Pat Ennis, brother John and his wife Marion, cherished grandchildren Senan, Eoin, Béibhinn, Maeve, Róisín, Michelle, Aisling and Mark. He will be sadly missed also by his nieces and nephews, the extended Fahy and Hackett family, friends and neighbours.

 

Reposing at ‘St. Pio’s Room’ within the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway, on Tuesday, October 22 from 5.30 p.m. with Removal into the Church at 7 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Tom on Wednesday, October 23, at 11 a.m. and following Mass Tom will be laid to rest with baby John in the new cemetery, Bohermore.

 

May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace
