On the 10th of February 2025, Tom Joe passed away peacefully at University Hospital Galway, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Gretta Furey, son Peter, stepmother Bridie and sister Sally. Deeply regretted and fondly remembered by his wife Maureen, sons James, Brendan and Declan, daughters Sally, Maria and Áine, daughters-in-law Ann Maria and Melody Rose, son-in-law John, grandchildren Nicole, Danielle, Chloe, Hope, Sean Óg and Ruairí, brother Sean, sister Ann, sister-in-law Ann, brother-in-law Michael, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing in The Holy Family Funeral Home, Mervue (H91 FH52), on Thursday the 13th of February from 5pm. Removal at 6:30pm to his home. Tom Joe's Requiem Mass will take place on Friday the 14th of February in The Church of the Holy Family, Mervue, at 11am. Funeral afterwards to The Lisheen Cemetery, Ballybrit.
