Thomas slipped away peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday, 15 October, in the care of Áras Chois Fharraige Nursing Home, Spiddal with his dearly loved family by his side.
Predeceased by his brothers Frank, Willie, Jim, John and Peter, sister Sheila and grandson Baby Mason Duricin.
A devoted husband to Eileen, much loved father of John, Tommy, Annemarie and Ellen and father-in-law of Daki and Andreas. A dearly loved brother of Eugene, Dettie and Mary.
Sadly missed and mourned by all his family including his grandsons Dylan, Forn, Stephen, Seán, Melan and Kai, granddaughters Myan, Amira and Niya all his nieces and nephews, the extended family, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at the ‘Cillín’ within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna on Friday, 18 October 2024 from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Removal to his home to be waked overnight following prayers.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Thomas on arrival at the same Church on Saturday, 19 October at 1 o’clock and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Furbo cemetery.
