The death has occurred of Thomas Higgins, Lisheenkyle, Oranmore and Little Flower Nursing Home Labane, formerly of Castlelambert, Athenry. Peacefully, in the care of the staff of Little Flower Nursing Home. Predeceased by Nora, his wife of almost sixty years, his brothers Joe, Frs. Paddy, Richie and Michael, and his sisters Tessie Walsh and Eileen Holian and teenage siblings Mary Anne and Willie. Sadly missed by his daughters Mary and Bríd and son-in-law Peter, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended Higgins and King families, neighbours and friends.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Thomas will repose at Gardner’s Funeral Home, Athenry, (H65 EV80) on Sunday, March 10th, from 5:00 p.m. Removal at 7:00 p.m. to the Church of the Assumption, Athenry, (H65 PV27). Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Athenry.
