The death has occurred of Martin (Mart) Collins, Ballybrit, Galway
It is with deep sadness that Martin’s family share the news of his peaceful death following a short illness in the wonderful care of ICU at Galway University Hospital on Monday, April 14, 2025. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Winnie and his sister Sandra,
Deeply mourned by his partner Debra and by his much-loved daughter Jacinta, step-children Lisa and James, step-grandchildren Conrad and Robyn, brothers and sisters Ambrose, Frankie, Johnny and Patsy, Noreen, Josephine and Rosie. Martin will always be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
May he be reunited with all his loved ones

Funeral Arrangements
Wednesday, April 16, 2025 - Martin will Repose at ‘Áras Naofa’ within the grounds of the Church of St. Oliver Plunkett, Renmore (H91 PX95) from 5.30 p.m. Private Removal to his home at 7.00 p.m.
Holy Thursday Funeral Service, April 17, 2025. The Holy Thursday Funeral Service will be celebrated for Martin without the distribution of communion, on arrival at 1.30 p.m. at St. Columba’s Church, Castlegar (H91E4C9). Following this Service, Martin (Mart) will be laid to rest in Lisheen cemetery, Ballybrit.
