The death has occurred of Geraldine Moran, Bohercuill, Caherlistrane, Galway
Geraldine Moran, Bohercuill, Caherlistrane, Co. Galway, 20th April 2025, peacefully after a short illness at the Galway Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her father Willie. Deeply regretted by her mother Mary, aunts and uncles May Shaughnessy (Craughwell), Teresa and Michael Fahy (Corrandulla) and Patricia McHugh (Breadagh), cousins, relatives, neighbours, special friends Yvonne and Noelle, and her Palace Fields family. May Geraldine’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Carey’s Funeral Home, Headford (H91 E6X9) on Tuesday evening 22nd April from 6pm until 8pm. Removal from her home on Wednesday morning 23rd April, to arrive at Church of Mary Immaculate and St. Joseph Caherlistrane (H91 E4X6), for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Donaghpatrick Cemetery. Mass can be viewed live on www.churchtv.ie/caherlistrane. Family flowers only by request.
