The death has occurred of Bernard Rooney, Ballinfoyle Park, Headford Road, Galway City, Galway
On the 25th of April 2025, Bernard passed away peacefully in University Hospital Galway. Beloved husband of Marion. Will be sadly missed by his wife, his daughter Aoife, son Einar, grandchildren Jason and Stephen, sisters Philomena and Kathleen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing in Irwin's Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91 CK84), on Monday the 28th of April from 5pm. Removal at 6:30pm to The Church of The Resurrection Ballinfoyle. Bernard's Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday the 29th of April at 1:30pm. Cremation service to follow at 4pm, in Shannon Crematorium, County Clare (V14 PV30).
