Stephen Molloy, Carrowndulla, Oughterard, Co. Galway on 7th of June, 2021. Predeceased by his wife Mary and his brother Tom. Died peacefully on St. Anne’s Ward, University College Hospital, Galway, surrounded by his family. Stephen will be very deeply missed by his loving family, daughter Marissa, son Stephen, daughter Mary, grandsons Shay, Steve, Colm, Kieran, Chaison, Leith, granddaughters Ellie, Fayla, Kandaliss, great grandsons Oisin and Stevie, daughter-in-law Sarah, son-in-law Pat(Folan), brothers Paddy, Gerry, sister’s Mary (Johnson-USA), Breege (Dunne-UK), Margaret (Murphy-UK), sisters -in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours, friends especially his dear friends Peter and Monsie Carr. R.I.P.A very sincere thanks to all staff on St Anne’s Ward for the kindness and support you showed to Stephen. It was truly appreciated.
Stephen’s funeral cortege will leave his home in Carrowndulla to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oughterard for requiem mass at 11 o’clock on Thursday the 10th, with burial immediately afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery.
Due to ongoing government restrictions and public health guidelines around social gatherings, the funeral will be held privately. In line with the family’s wishes, anybody attending the Mass will be on a list compiled by them to help with contact tracing, as recommended by government guidelines. If you choose to attend the burial or stand in a guard of honour, please maintain social distancing and avoid hand shaking for the safety of all in attendance.
