On Saturday, March 01, 2025, Anita died peacefully with her beloved family by her side in the great care of the staff at the Galway Clinic. Predeceased by her parents Julia and Walter and sister Carmel.
Deeply loved and mourned by her husband Michael, children Marie, Pauline, Yvonne, Kevin and Ann and by her sisters Joan, Deirdre and brother Tom. Sadly, missed also by her sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, her adored grandchildren who also adored her; Jessica and Dean, Tomás, Abi and Connor, Seán and Ava, nephews and nieces, the extended Geary and Broderick family, lovely neighbours and friends.

Thursday, March 06, 2025 - Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, (H91 V1K8) from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Friday, March 07, 2025 - Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Anita on arrival at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius' Church, Jesuit Church, Sea Road, where, she loved being a Eucharistic Minister and volunteer for many happy years. Following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery (H91 XW6).
