The Death has occurred of Ben Lyons, St Bridget’s, Monivea, Athenry and formerly of Lenamore, Colemanstown. Ben passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Flannery’s Nursing Home in his 99th year.
Predeceased by his Wife Mary, parents Patrick and Margaret, brother John and sisters May (Jennings) and Della (Greaney). Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, his brother in-law Jackie Moreton, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Ben will be reposing in Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry on Wednesday 22nd January from 5pm. Removal at 6.30pm to the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Newcastle, Athenry. Requiem Mass for Ben will take place on Thursday 23rd January at 12.30pm. Burial afterwards in Templemoyle Cemetery, Newcastle.
