Mercy Sisters, Ballinasloe, Galway formerly of Gurteen and Mount Pleasant, Ballinasloe. Sr. Magdalen passed away peacefully in her 100th year in the loving care of the staff in Garbally View, Nursing Home, on the 9th of November, 2024. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Mary Anne, her brothers Mark and Seamus and her sisters Kitty, Peggy and Annie. Very sadly missed by her sister Maureen, her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces, great grandnephews, relatives, friends, the Mercy Sisters, Ballinasloe and the Sisters of Mercy, Western Province.

Sr. Magdalen will repose in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on Monday the 11th of November, from 5pm to 7pm, with removal afterwards to St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe. Sr. Magdalen's Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Convent Cemetery, Loughrea. Sr. Magdalen's Requiem Mass can be viewed via live stream on https://www.churchservices.tv/ballinasloe.
