Sr. Eileen Mannion died peacefully at her convent home, in the care of the wonderful Sisters of the Holy Spirit, San Antonio, Texas on 10-Feb-2024.

 

Sr. Eileen was formerly of Farmhill, Newtown, Abbeyknockmoy, Tuam, Co. Galway. She is survived by the members of her religious family, the Sisters of the Holy Spirit, by her beloved sister Annie Connelly (Oakwood, Abbeyknockmoy), her brother Kevin Mannion (Limerick), her sisters-in-law, Mary (Limerick), Maria (Chicago) and Gretta (Monivea). Sr Eileen is predeceased by her parents, John and Ellie Mannion (Farmhill) her sister, Bridie Delaney (Abbeyknockmoy) her brothers Christie (Irishtown), Ger (Farmhill), Malachy (Chicago), Paddy (Monivea), Frank (Abbeyknockmoy) and Willie (Glenamaddy).

Rest In Peace

 

Memorial mass for Sister Eileen will take place in St. Bernards Church Abbeyknockmoy on Saturday 17th February 2024 at 1pm. Sr. Eileen was interred in the Sisters Community Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas on Wednesday 14th February.

 

Sr. Eileen will be forever loved by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
