Sean passed away peacefully on Monday the 20th of January, 2025. Sean is predeceased by his wife Elizabeth ‘Lily’ Shaughnessy, brother Francis and sisters Mary and Cait.
Beloved father of Linda, Fiona, John, Niall, Marie and Ita and adored grandfather to Rhona, Ciara, Kate, Kevin, Lucy, Sean, Freya, Elena, Lilyanna, Emma and Leah. Sean will be deeply missed by his loving family, children, grandchildren, son-in-law Ruairi and Olivier, daughter-in-law Ramona, Niall's partner Antoinette and Ita's partner Edwin, brother Tom (Corrandulla), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Sean will repose at Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on Thursday the 23rd of January, from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday afternoon to St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe for Funeral Mass at 2pm, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery. Sean's Funeral Mass can be viewed via the live stream on www.churchservices.tv/ballinasloe.
