Formerly of Attymon, Athenry. Seamus passed away peacefully on the 26th September 2023, surrounded by his loving family and in the loving care of the wonderful staff of the Dunlo Ward, Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe. Predeceased by his loving wife Kathleen, his parents Peter and Annie, brothers Padraig, Tommy and Eugene and sisters Maureen and Angela. Deeply regretted by his daughter Collette (Gormally), and sons Paschal and Ignatius, son-in-law Gabriel, daughters-in-law Sabina and Claire, grandchildren Denise and Niamh, sister Olive Hynes, brothers Michael (USA), Martin (Limerick) and Paul (UK), brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

 

May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.

 

Reposing at Francisan College Oratory, Mountbellew, Co. Galway (H53 WE00) on Thursday, 28th of September, from 6pm to 8:30pm. Funeral mass on Friday, 29th of September, at 12 noon in St. Peter and Paul's Church, Ballymacward followed by burial afterwards in Ballymacward New Cemetery. House private on Friday morning.

 

The family are conscious that Covid is still present and kindly ask that those attending the funeral are mindful of the ongoing risk.
