Rosaleen died peacefully on Monday, 2 October in the exceptional care of the nurses, doctors and staff at Galway University Hospital.

Deeply mourned by her loving husband James, her sister Anne Lynam (Athlone), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law,  nieces and nephews, cousins, the extended family,  neighbours and many friends .  Rosaleen appreciated and enjoyed the company of all her friends, the staff at Aparee Living (formerly Coral Haven) and her retired colleagues from Brown Thomas and Moons.

Reposing ‘St. Pio’s Room, within the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road (H91 E781) on  Wednesday evening 4 October from 5.30 p.m. with Removal to the Church at 7 p.m.  Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Rosaleen on Thursday, 5 October at 11 a.m. and following Mass she will be laid to rest in Duniry cemetery , Cartron, Loughrea, Co. Galway.
