It is with great sadness that the family of Richard O’Donovan announcees his passing, on October 11th 2023, after an illness bravely borne. Richard passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving wife Deirdre (McDonagh), children Mark, Jamie, Liane and Kevin, their partners Christine, Maggie, David and Emma and grandchild Maeve.
Predeceased by his father PJ O’Donovan. Deeply mourned by his mother Sheila, sisters Elizabeth and Catherine, brother Michael and extended families.
Sadly missed by his sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Aiseirí Funeral Home (H91 Y54A), Moycullen, on Thursday, October 12th, from 5pm until 7pm. Arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Friday, 13th of October, in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Moycullen. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, by request. Donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice.
