Late of Keane’s Road, Waterford.
Peacefully with his family by his side in St. Mary’s Ward, Galway University Hospital. Pre-deceased by his parents John and Ellen, his sister Mary, brothers Richard and Michael, twin brother John, brother Jimmy and nephew John.
Deeply loved and mourned by his wife Mary, children John, Susan, Paul, Sandra and Caroline, daughter-in-law Audrey, sons-in-law Richard and Shane and his adored grandchildren Jessica, Rachel, Ethan and Conall, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8), on Friday, 09 August from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Richard on Saturday, 10 August at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, the Claddagh. Following Mass Richard will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery. House private please.
