Raymond passed peacefully from this life on 28th January 2024, at home, surrounded by his loving and devoted family, after a long illness borne with dignity and strength.

Predeceased by his father John (Jack) and mother Helen (Nelly), his brothers Bernard, Sean, Noel and Eugene and sister Maura.

Raymond was a devoted husband and best friend to his heartbroken wife Mary Teresa, much loved father to Cormac, Ciaran and Sinéad, treasured grandad to Adam, Finn and Eden and father-in-law to Farrah, Paul and Ciaran’s partner Geri.
Raymond will be deeply missed by his sister Joan (Bennett), brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews, members of the extended Chapman and Forde families, his neighbours and many friends.

Raymond will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Loughrea Wednesday, 31st January, from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral cortege will arrive at St Dympna's Church, Kilnadeema on Thursday, 1st February, at 11.45am for Requiem Mass for Raymond at 12noon.
Burial will take place immediately after Mass in the adjoining cemetery.
