Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom in 2004 and by her siblings Jimmy, Gerry, Jodie, Peter, Mary and Margery.

 

On Monday, January 29, 2024 Phil (Mena) died very peacefully at St. David’s Nursing Home, Gentian Hill, with her daughter Fiona by her side. Deeply mourned by her heartbroken daughter and son Conor (NSW, Australia) and his wife Belinda. A very proud granny of Iseult (Izzy) and Ultan (Ulty) who admired and loved her dearly. Sadly missed also by the extended O’Dea and Boylan family, wonderful neighbours, many loyal and devoted friends including the affectionate staff of St. Davids Nursing Home.

 

Reposing at O'Flaherty's Funeral Parlour (H91 V1K8) on Friday, 2 February from 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m with Removal to Church of Christ the King, Salthill to arrive at 7 p.m.

 

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Phil on Saturday, 3 February at 11 a.m. Following Mass she will be laid to rest with her husband Tom in Rahoon cemetery. Livestream link for Mass: https://salthillparish.ie/
