It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved father, Peter McAleer, on the 21st of November 2023. A pillar of strength and a source of unwavering love, Peter left this world surrounded by the warmth of his family. Peter is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, who shared a lifetime of memories and joys with him. His legacy lives on through his devoted sons, Dara and Barney, and his cherished daughter, Aoife.
In the embrace of family ties, Peter leaves behind his brother Gerry and sister Mary, who will forever carry his spirit in their hearts. Peter will be dearly missed by his daughter-in -laws, Sarah and Edythe, and his son-in-law David, each of whom found a friend in him.
A proud patriarch, Peter adored his grandchildren, Paddy, Tom, Joe, Charlie, Luke, Ben and Bobby. Their laughter and innocence brought immense joy to his life, and his love for them knew no bounds. Peter will also be missed by his sisters in law, nieces, nephews, friends and relatives all whom were a huge part of his life.
As we bid farewell to a remarkable man, let us remember Peter McAleer for the love he shared, the wisdom he imparted, and the memories that will forever be etched in our hearts. May he rest in peace, knowing that his legacy lives on in the love and unity of his family.
