It is with deep sadness that Patsy’s family share the news of his death at Galway University Hospital on Sunday, 11 February, 2024.

 

Patsy is mourned by his sons David and Paul, by his grandchildren Christian, Leah and Robbie, brothers Michael and Barney, sister Mary and by David’s partner Caroline and Paul’s partner Geraldine. Fondly remembered by the extended Traynor and O’Connor family and he will be very sadly missed by all those he encountered at West United Football Club, his neighbours and friends.

 

Patsy will repose at ‘St. Pio’s Room’ within the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road on Shrove Tuesday, 13 February from 5.00 p.m. with Removal at 6.30 p.m. into the Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Patsy on Ash Wednesday, 14 February at 11.30 a.m. and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.
