Pakie passed away peacefully on the 8th of December, 2023 in wonderful care of both Aperee Living Nursing Home and Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Agnes and his sister Bridie Martin. Pakie is deeply mourned by his sisters Maureen Gordon (Shralea, Ballinasloe), Katie Madden (Clontuskert), his brother Michael (Leixlip), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Pakie will repose in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15), on Sunday, the 10th of December, from 4pm, with removal at 6pm to St. Augustine's Church, Clontuskert. Pakie's Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
