Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Brigid, his brother Jack and sisters Mary and Sr Michael.

Lenny passed from this life, peacefully, after a short illness, in the wonderful care of the staff of Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe on Monday 19th February 2024, surrounded by the love and care of his family.

Lenny will be sadly missed and always remembered by his wife and best friend Lucy, his children Brid, Trish, Mary, Madeleine, Padraig, Fionnaigh and Regina, his son-in-laws Paul (Newell), Paul (Smyth), David, Jim, Kevin and John and his daughter-in-law Helena, and his adored twenty two grandchildren. Lenny will be deeply mourned by his sister Brid (O'Reilly, Dublin) and her husband Kevin, his nieces, nephews, members of the extended family, his neighbours and friends.

Lenny will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, funeral home, Barrack Street, Loughrea on Wednesday evening 21st February from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral cortege will arrive at St Brendan's Cathedral, Loughrea at 12.15pm on Thursday 22nd for Requiem Mass for Lenny at 12.30pm. Burial will take place after Mass in Clostoken cemetery.
