Glenbrack Rd, Gort, Co. Galway and formerly of Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. Late of Bank of Ireland, Gort and Giblin Trophies. Padraic died peacefully at home, in the loving care of his devoted wife and family, on the 28th of January 2025, aged 77 years.
Pre-deceased by his father and mother, John and Margaret Giblin.
Cherished and much loved Padraic will be sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend Nell, by his daughter Marie, sons Gerard, Ronnie and Aidan, son-in-law Liam, daughters-in-law Elaine, Diane and Marie, grandchildren Trìona, Tara, Diarmuid, Deirdre, Gearóid, Cathal, Cara, Elena, Hazel, Mary and Emma. Fondly remembered by his brother Michael, his sisters Sr. Kathleen, Betty and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Padraic will lie in repose at his residence St. Francis, Glenbrack Road, Gort (H91 Y658) on Thursday January 30th, from 4pm until 6pm. Removal on Friday Morning January 31st from his home to St. Colmans Church Gort for Requiem mass at 12 noon. Following mass Padraic will be laid to rest in St. Colmans Cemetery Gort. Family flowers only please donations if desired to the Galway Hospice Foundation. House Private on Friday please.
