On Monday, 30 October, 2023, Michael passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the Galway Hospice.

 

Dearly loved husband of Josephine and much-loved father of Marie, Catherine, Joan and Michelle. Deeply mourned by his devoted wife and daughters, sister Kathleen, sons-in-law John, Mike, Shane and Catherine’s partner Pat, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews and all his neighbours and friends.

 

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) on Wednesday evening,  01 November, from 6.30 p.m. with Removal at 8 p.m. to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road at 8.30 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Michael on Thursday, 02 November, at one p.m. and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.
