Predeceased by his dearly loved wife Maureen (née McGrath)
In the early hours of Monday, January 13, 2025, Michael died peacefully in his 88th year, at home. Deeply mourned by his heartbroken family and extended family in particular by his children Carmel, Bernie, Valerie, Deirdre, Michael and Kieran, sister Sr. Noelle, sons-in-law Charlie and John, daughter-in-law Carol, Michael’s partner Michelle, Carmel’s partner Denis, grandchildren Elaine, Karen, Orla, Ross, Ciaran, Eoghan, Declan, Gary, Shane, Keith, Aoife, Rebecca, Dylan and Abby and great granddaughter Aoibhinn. Fondly remembered also by his sisters-in-law Teresa, Maureen, Kathleen, Rita, Ann and Eileen, brothers-in-law John, Patrick and Michael, nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends.
May he be reunited with Maureen and his uncle-in-law Petie,
son-in-law Gerry, parents Michael and Mary and siblings
Tommy, Martin, Johnny, Winnie and Bridget and relatives.

Thursday, January 16, 2025: Reposing at ‘Tearmann Mhuire’ H91 EVX4 within the grounds of the Church of the Immaculate Conception Oranmore from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Friday, January 17, 2025; Removal from his home at 10.45 a.m. to Oranmore Church (H91XC61) in advance of Requiem Mass therein Time 11.30 a.m. Following Mass Michael will be laid to rest in Rinville cemetery, Oranmore. Live streaming of Mass is available on the Church webcam Here and on the Parish Radio 105.3 FM in the local area.
