Tysaxon, Athenry, Co.Galway and formerly of Knockcroghery, Co.Roscommon. Passed away suddenly on 8th January 2024.

Sadly missed by her loving family, husband Peadar, sons Andrew and David, grandchildren Emily and Joseph, brothers Sean, Patsy and Michael, sisters-in-law Mary (Connell) and Ann (Tarpey), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home (H65PK38) on Thursday, 11th January, from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving to the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Newcastle, Athenry on Friday 12th for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards to Templemoyle Cemetery.

We did our Nursing with Maureen 60 years ago and have remained "best friends " ever since. Maureen had a heart of gold! generous to a fault she would give you the coat of her back. The countless times she and Peadar visited us in California and always laden down with gifts!.A great confidante and always willing to lend a listening ear. Memories of wonderful times together. She will be so missed. Condolences to Peadar Andrew David and all the family. And, to her grandchildren Emily and Joe whom she adored. Love to you all.
