(Formerly William Street West) Maura died peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Bon Secours Hospital with her loving family at her side. Beloved wife of the late Michael (Pots) Flaherty and much loved mother of John, Paul, Kevin, Mary, Valerie, Terry, Ray and the late baby Brian. Predeceased also by her grandson Aaron. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her sons and daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her adored fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and great friends.
Reposing at the Church of the Holy Family funeral parlour, Mervue, Galway on Thursday, 23 November, 2023 from 5.00 p.m. with Removal at 6.30 p.m. to the adjoining Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Maura on Friday, 24 November, at 11.00 a.m. Following Mass she will be laid to rest with her husband in Rahoon Cemetery.
