The death has occurred of Mary (Mai) Miskell, (nee Connolly), Cloondahamper, Lavally, Tuam, Galway H54K654
Mai passed away peacefully at home on the 19th August 2024 after a long illness bravely borne, with great courage and dignity, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her Parents, Edward-John and Julia. Her special aunt Kitty and Stephen. Her brothers Paddy-Joe, Michael and Tom and her nephew Brendan.
Deeply mourned by her heartbroken husband Michael, her children Michael, Orla, Emma, Alan, Colin, Ronan, her twin sister Peg, her sister in law and close friend Kathleen, her eight grandchildren whom she adored so much, daughters in law, sons in law, sisters in law, brothers in laws, nieces and nephews. Along with Mai’s wonderful neighbours both in Cloondahamper and Milltown, and her beloved former nursing colleagues and her wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her daughter Orla’s residence (H54K654) Tuesday evening the 20th of August from 5 to 8pm.
Funeral mass Wednesday morning at 12pm in St Mary’s Church, Killererin (H54 WY44), with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Galway Hospice or The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA).
