The death has occurred of Mary Curley (née Curran) Coolourty, Abbeyknockmoy, Co. Galway.
Mary passed away peacefully on Friday 14th February 2025 surrounded by her heartbroken family.
She is predeceased by her husband Joseph, her parents Tom and Margaret Curran, her brothers Joe and Padraic, and her brother-in-law Liam Nestor. Adored mother to Colette (Fallon), Yvonne, and Declan. Mary will be sadly missed by her son-in-law Peter, Yvonne’s partner Paul Kerr, daughter-in-law Emer, her six grandchildren Ruairí, Eimear, and Conor Fallon, and Caitlin, Aoife, and Joseph Curley, her brother Frank Curran, her sisters Rita Corcoran, Carmel Ryan, and Cora Nestor, and her sisters-in-law Lil and Helen and brothers-in-law Francis and Mattie, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, and friends.
Mary will repose in Mannion’s Funeral Home, Abbeyknockmoy (H54 RW94) Sunday 16th February from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Removal from her daughter Colette’s residence, Mountbellew, to St. Bernard’s Church, Abbeyknockmoy, (H54 KX60) to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12 noon Monday 17th February. Burial afterwards in Abbeyknockmoy Cemetery.
