Bláth passed away peacefully in the excellent care of the medical staff of the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, Co. Laois after a brief illness. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary, her brother Michael (Midie) and her sister Eva. Deeply regretted by her brother Frank, her nephews and nieces,grand nephews and grand nieces relatives, her dear friends Richard and Sally, her close neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Bláth will be received into the Church of the Holy Trinity, Durrow, Co Laois (R32 CK11) on Thursday evening 7th November 2024 and will repose there from 5.30 to 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday 8th November at 11am in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Durrow with removal to St. Mary's Cemetery, The Square, Athenry, Co. Galway for internment at 2.30pm.
