Predeceased by her husband Hugh, parents John and Bríd and by her sisters Barbara, Kathleen, Annie and Maura, brothers Paddy, Michael and Martin.

Greatly loved by her son Paul and his partner Sonja, daughters Hilary and her husband Keith and by Gemma and her husband Mark. She was a very proud granny of “ amazing grandchildren”; Conor and Aria, Max and Hugo, Lincoln, Seth and Archer and they will miss her greatly. Sadly, missed also by her sisters Bridie and Claire, and by her extended ‘Flaherty’ and ‘McFadden’ family, loyal friends, lovely neighbours and carers.

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) on Thursday, 29 February 2024 from 5:00 p.m. with Removal at 6:30 p.m. to St. Augustine’s Church, Middle Street, (H91 W6H3).

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Peggy on Friday, 1 March, 2024 at 11 a.m. and following Mass, she will be laid to rest with Hugh in the new cemetery, Bohermore.

Mass will not be live streamed in St. Augustine’s Church.
