Formerly of Alexandria, Virginia, U.S.A. Predeceased by her father Richard and more recently by her mother Lois.
It is with deep sadness that Meg's family shares the news of her death on January, 28 after a short illness in the wonderful care of the Galway Hospice, with her dearly loved husband Padraic by her side.
Deeply mourned by Padraic and by her sisters and brother Mary, Kristin, Victoria and Richard Jnr.,and their families, by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Mairín, Sibéal, Bríd, Treasa, Mairéad, Sarah, Anne, Noreen, Seán and Mairtín. Meg will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all the Flaherty and Bowman family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Wednesday, 31 January from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Private Cremation will take place on Thursday, 1 February and Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Meg at a later date at home on Inis Meáin.
