Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy, daughter Maria, sisters Catherine, Annie, Bríd and brothers Paddy and John.
Margaret died peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Mary’s Nursing Home, with her much loved family by her side. Devoted mother to Gerard (Ger), Stephen, Shane and the late Maria. Deeply loved and mourned by her sons, sisters Freda Carty (Loughrea) and Noreen Rabbitte (Middleton), daughter-in-law Breda, son-in-law Pat, her cherished grandchildren Shane, Rachel, Sophie, Glen, Ava and Josh, cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends, including all the lovely residents and staff of St. Mary's Nursing Home.
Margaret will repose at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Tuesday, 2 January, 2024 from 4.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Margaret on arrival at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill on Wednesday, 3 January at 12 noon. Following Mass she will be laid to rest in the new cemetery, Bohermore.
May she be reunited with Paddy and Maria
