Marcia died unexpectedly in the wonderful care of the staff at University College Hospital Galway on Saturday, 18 November, 2023 with her family by her side.

 

Beloved wife and best friend of the late Donagh for almost sixty years, adored mother, sister, granny, great granny and mother-in-law and a much-loved friend.  Pre-deceased by her parents Ned and Mary Hynes. Deeply mourned by her daughters and sons, Gillian, Denise, Peter, Andrew and John, sister Helen,  sons-in-law Derek and Ian, daughters-in-law Emma and Fiona,  grandchildren Daniel, Jake, Emily and Annabelle, and  great grand-son Bowe.

 

Marcia is sadly missed also by her sister-in-law Maura, brothers-in-law Pat Sheridan and David Neligan, the extended O’Donoghue and Hynes family and friends.

 

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8), Galway on Wednesday, 22 November, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Marcia on Thursday, 23 November, on arrival at the Jesuit Church, Sea Road at 11 a.m. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.

 

Reunited with her loved ones, together again,

 

may they rest in eternal peace.
