Mamie (Mary) Murphy (nee Cahill), The Ferry, Kilbeg, Headford, Co. Galway and formerly of Gortroe, Corrandulla, 11th September 2024, peacefully, under the exceptional and supportative care of the Galway Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Thomas. Deeply regretted by her family, Pat, Anne Marie Walsh (London), Martin (Newbridge), Tim, Tom, Carmel, Angela Chapman and Declan, daughters-in-law Anne, Helen, Martina, Carmel and Kathy, sons-in-law Lorcan and Chris, Carmel’s partner Peter, grandchildren Eoin, Conor, Aoife, Ruairi, Cormac, John, Kayla, Ellie, Cathal, Jasmine, Hazel, Robyn and Emma, sister-in-law Jan (Australia), nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Mamie is also predeceased by her brothers Thomas, Michael, John, Br. Gerard (Paddy) and Martin, sister Sr. Philomena (Della), sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

 

May Mamie’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing at Carey’s Funeral Home, Headford (H91 E6X9) on Friday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from her home on Saturday to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Headford (H91 C9W8) for requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Cargin Cemetery. Mass can be viewed live on Headford Parish Facebook page or www.churchtv.ie/headford

Family flowers only by request. Donations if desired to the Galway Hospice.
