Peacefully, following a brief illness at Galway University Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Tommy and brother Kevin (Ryan). Mai will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving children Gerry, Bernie, Joseph, Benny, Mary, Cora and Deirdre, her sons in-law and daughters in-law Melissa, Gerry, Bernie, Sinead, John, Mairtin and Brendan, her adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, her brothers, sister, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry (H65 KP70), on Friday 16th August from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving to St. Iomar’s Church, Killimordaly (H65 E761) on Saturday 17th for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Mai will be laid to rest afterwards in the adjoining Killimordaly Cemetery. House private by request. Donations, if desired, to the Stroke Unit, University Hospital, Galway.
